Story Behind The Song
I grew up by the beautiful Gold Coast on the east coast of Australia. See the Sunshine is my attempt to capture the feelings of family days out on the beach or times with my best friend from primary school. You know those times when you're so relaxed and loving life that it makes you start thinking about the weird unanswerable questions; What is time? What makes it pass? Do other people see colours the same as I do? It's a mix of total fun with a bit of melancholy - to emulate how I felt every day I was having the most fun but at the same time, knowing it was going to end.
Influences for this song would be Daddy Cool (Australian band in the 70's), Beck, and the soundtrack to "The Beach."

Lyrics
I just wanna see the sunshine fall down on me
I just wanna feel the new day come set me free
I just wanna hear the laughter in the distant breeze
Let?s get together now and make some memories
So we can do it all over again
Yeah we can do it all over again
So we can do it all over do it all over do it all over again
I just wanna spend these moments lettin? them go by
Couldn?t make a bad move baby even if I try
I just wanna hold this feeling forever if I can
All I need is you and me and some oxygen
And we can do it all over again
Yeah we can do it all over again
So we can do it all over do it all over do it all over again
I just wanna taste the midnight in every breath I take
We can watch another day break if you?re still awake
And we can do it all over again
Yeah we can do it all over again
So we can do it all over do it all over do it all over again
I just wanna see the sunshine fall down on me
I just wanna feel the new day come set me free
