Story Behind The Song
Internet dating is very popular - question is: how many people are honest on their profiles? This song addresses that question and even has a happy ending! I wanted to write a song about a topic so near and dear to many people's hearts today - a current version of Dream Lover!
Song Description
Like many single people (and perhaps some that are married) Jim is attracted to the internet dating world. He checks his email regularly and has developed a relationship with a woman that he can't wait to meet. He hopes she has been honest on her profile. Of course, that fact that he has been dishonest on his doesn't bother him. When they meet, turns out they have both been dishonest. But the feelings grow fast - they fall in love and live happily ever after.

Lyrics
My Cyber Baby
Music and Lyrics by Jim Krochka
I'm in limbo
Waiting for my cyber baby to reply
Why oh why can't I
Meet the one for me
Please let your profile be true
Nothing else will do
Let's get together - I'll hold you tight
Don't wait - it can be tonight, ya
So you say you're slim and tight
Will love me with all your might
Like a fish I take the bait and bite
What's right is right, so right, ya
Please let your profile be true
Nothing else will do
Let's get together - I'll hold you tight
Don't wait - it can be tonight, ya
So, here we are - time to meet
I look for your slim body, so sweet
You walk on in from the street
I see you from my seat
My heart skips a beat
Please let your profile be true
Nothing else will do
Let's get together - I'll hold you tight
Don't wait - it can be tonight, ya
Well, here we are in love
Seem you were sent from above
Guess you're not slim and tight
But you love me with all your might
Please let your profile be true
Nothing else will do
Let's get together - I'll hold you tight
Don't wait - it can be tonight, ya
