Greg Dyer began learning piano at age 9, and moved onto drums at 11. He formed his first rock band at age 14, and has never looked back. He has played in numerous bands since, honing his skills as a player, music composer, and as an orchestrator along the way. This culminated in the joining of a band called Violet Edge, which is signed to the label Original Sine Records. Their debut CD, Killing Time, is soon to be released. During the recording of Violet Edge’s debut CD, Greg began to build his own small studio to use to work on material for the band. He found an outlet for other music ideas, and has continued to this day pursue the goal of writing music for film and video. This has led to the idea and development of World Under Ether. A music production house capable of providing any and all musical needs.

Since the beginning of World Under Ether, Greg has written music for the short Horror film, ?The Night Jack came Home?; a short tribute to the 25th anniversary of ?Halloween?. Which garnered a great review in the indie film magazine ?The Hacker?s Source?. Josh Haney wrote, ? The music by Greg Dyer has the same effect that Mr. Carpenter?s original score had over the film, it draws you deeper into the scare.? Greg also provided music for the mood variety show, ?Sassy Segments?.
