Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song about my little brother loading up his car and moving across the country almost the day after he graduated high school. I had always threatened to do that, but never actually followed through and I really admired that he had the courage to do that. It was also a realization that my little brother had grown up a lot more than I'd realized when I was away at college.

Alibi is a song about siblings growing up together, and then becoming adults and through the process growing apart geographically but still sharing a strong common bond.
