Story Behind The Song
I awoke one morning, from a dream with the verse and it's progression complete in my mind. Curiously, the unintended consequence of this was the same cyclic change used in the Hendrix version of "Hey Joe". Once this became evident, I pretty much dedicated every aspect of the song's movements to an exercise examining the style of Jimi Hendrix arranging and playing a pop rock ballad.
Song Description
This song came about from an instrumental I was wanting to develop in a style similar to Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing". "Angel", or "Night Bird Flying".
The introduction up to the bridge was complete. But, I had no words for the segue way into the chords used in the next part.
Recording it was a bit challenging but the song was so independently unique from anything I had ever done, it came out quite smoothly. As did the final lyric theme, anytime a complete section, or piece of work comes in a flash, those items are usually quite good and this song is no exception. I am quite happy with it and it feels like one of those moments where I am the conduit rather than content which flows forth to be the song Together.

Lyrics
Together
I can remember standing in the rain
and talking to you.
All the things that we used to do
together we could feel no pain
Together we shall stand and
Together we shall follow...The Sun
I can remember flowers in your hair
and touching you too.
All the things that we used to do
together we would have no cares
Together we shall stand and
Together we shall follow...The Sun
I can feel it down inside
Yes there's something I can't hide
For you...yea you
And though this love that I can't hide
It really hurts to see you try to fade
Away...away
Together we shall stand and
Together we shall follow...The Sun
The Sun...
