Song Description
This is an actual original audio recording of a song I wrote Oct 28, 1982, that is 33 years ago, and recorded on a cheap reel to reel recorder, this is the actual recording. The instrument is an old SUZUKI OMNICHORD that I had just purchased in Afton, Oklahoma. There is also a video here that shows the Omnichord.

Lyrics
ROCKABYE THIS COUNTRY STAR
After closing time, when I'm only passing time,
and I slip between the sheets, fresh and new,
pour myself a drink, and I sink into lonliness,
and I think a lot about you.
After my last song, then it's a long night ahead,
in a hotel where everything's like new,
they're all rated first class, but I rate them lonliness,
and I think a lot about your.
There's nowhere to go where I won't be seen,
and I have to hide away, in the backseat of a limosine.
After my last autograph, it's back on the road,
and the road will do what I couldn't do,
rockabye this country star
and here we are in Buffalo
And I think a lot about you.
There's nowhere to go where I won't be seen,
and I have to hide away, in the backseat of a limosine.
After my last autograph, it's back on the road,
and the road will do what I couldn't do,
rockabye this country star
and here we are in El Paso
And I think a lot about you.
