Story Behind The Song
Well it were a fortnight or more ago, when Lancaster Avenue in Fote Wuth were the place to go late nights, especially if'n you was a railroader just getting off of a late shift telgraphing or switch engine stuff. Some of the bars and clubs, and there were a few, would not allow anyone in unless you was a railroader, or a real Texcas lookin woman without any escort, or a guitarplayer/singer/band. Angie by the Stones was popular and there was this one bar, not a club but a real Texas Honky Tonk where a real Texas longhaired filly by the name of ANGIE tended the bar, and that is where I sat allah the time. My railroader friends could not understand why I left at closing time with ANGIE, unless some rich Dallas Cowgirl came in without a quarterback or linebacke3r escort. But really liked Angie a whole lot but she sure made me drink gallons of Lone Star, cause that were the onliest beer this bar sold.
Song Description
This demo sounds kind of cheesy or Mickey Mouse like because Angie helped me record it about 3am one mawrnin and Angie played on my Suzuki Omnichord, really. We sure had a lotta fun with my Omnichord, will devote a whole chapter in my Memoirs to her.

Lyrics
ALL THE BEER IN TEXAS
You can't drink all the beer that's down here in Texas.
You can't drink all the beer that's down here in Texas.
I know, because I tried to do it one night.
There's more beer in Texas, than you'll ever drink in one night.
Bar tendin lady, be mine, be mine.
Texas bar tendin lady, please be mine.
I can't drink all the beer that's down here in Texas,
waitin for you.
All the beer in Texas won't keep me away from you.
Sip a little slower. Man I'm gettin older.
Look at how she's teasin, she should be apleasin, me.
There's more beer in Texas than you'll ever drink in one night.
Drink a little lighter. Man I ain't a fighter.
Look at how she's doin! Man she's gonna ruin, me.
There's more beer in Texas than you'll ever drink in one night.
You can't drink all the beer that's down here in Texas.
You can't drink all the beer that's down here in Texas.
I know, because I tried to do it one night.
There's more beer in Texas, than you'll ever drink in one night.
