Ligia, I just listened to Adios. Very nice piece! Norb Studelska
Hello Ligia, Are you an Edgar Alan Poe fan by any chance? One of my favorites he wrote is a short story called Ligea, a beautifuly woman, too, but Poe spelled her name a tiny bit different than yours. I have also written several poems about Ligea, using Poe's style. ph well, hope you are doing grerat. Ron Wilson aka Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet.
The vocal pitch range she masters is awsome, too. All she needs is the right promo, many times wish was a promoter, I'd go there in a minute.
Thanks Ron - appreciate the kind words :)
Wow. I am always saying What We need is another Canadian Pop singer. LOL In your case, this is very true, I love Mirror and I love your voice.
Thanks Ron. I have been working hard and writing a ton. This a link to the acoustic version I did in my living room https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc2 xH5oNk9s

ThankQ Lisa Jane, I hope you are still around Let me know, I have been a Broadjam member for many years, but have bee kind of absent the last 3 or 4. No, not incaracerated, LOL, just busy editing and publishing and even recording hundreds of poems I have written. Ron Wilson, aka Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet. I have a cousin who lives in Dublin.
Wonderful, the title FAR AWAY PLACES, got my interest, a beautiful song and you do a beautiful job, (and your pic is nice, too) well how bout beautiful, too? I really love this song and performance. Do you have any Valentines yet? Well. Happy Valentines Day, from a Valentine fan and friend. â'¥â'¥â'¥
Thank you Ron..... appreciate all your comments! Happy Valentine's Day to you too!
Fantastic Michael that we can never get music out of our system and blood. I am about to do the same, after re-working a lot of my songs for newer Demos, as I sort of depended on Publishers and Producers to jump on a potentioly great song even though the demos were like 50s and 60s level. It has become obvious that overeducation of musical gurus today has basically shut probably what could be our greatest hits and money makers in favor of full production, nudity, and gutter street language. But they always say, what goes around, comes around. I am thinking of forming a new group called the OLD FARTS, if there are not too many of them around. GOOD LUCK MICHAEL.
To Facebook shared, "Listen to this fantastic production."
My tip of my hat to the audio engineer, too.
Wonderful down to earth, girl next door vocal, we hear way not enough today. I would like to read the lyric, best advice is that every producer, director, singer, band, publisher on the planet wants a lyric sheet or they will not even listen. Take that to the bank, I really give you a 5 anyway, because I do none of those peoples jobs I just mentioned. Good luck I love your voice.
shared.
Thank you Ron!
Your Black Hat - I get a real picture in my head of the girl going downtown wearing the hat. Love the way she sings the song. It makes me think of a song called 'Black dress' by Ed Harcourt.
Gonna Miss Orlando - really like this. It describes exactly how I feel about Dublin!
Yau are writing parts ofmy own life, I have done this, really (Mix Taper) with the first girl I produced a CD fo. Recorded first on a cassette tape.
Thanks Lisa, I have written the song as GONNA MISS BILOXI and a couple others, too, maybe I will do one for Dublin, how would you do the line "..and I'm leaving on the Dublin highway..." for a cousin who also lives in Dublin. My entire ancestor family is from Dublin and Kincardinshire, Scotland, it is Arbuthnot. And if you can think of a good line for that, I will put you on it as Co-writer. might work. I really like your b/w Photograph, and will come back today to listen to your songs. Caio.
Myself being a poet, (Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet on Internet) your songs are all great poetry and then you throw in thy mesmerizing piano, I am hooked.
This one reminds me of a song Claudine Longet did years ago, THINK OF RAIN. Just in case you are not familiar with her, she was Andy William's wife. THINK OF RAIN is on Youtube.
Are you referring to Worlds of Wonder here? :-)
Yep, I hear a definite Beatles influence in this one, FOOL WHO PLAYED WITH WORDS. ou reached into my mind and wrote this song about me, I know you did. LOL
Hehe maybe I did! I think it's something a lot of people can relate to though. The song is about the commercialism of art (writing, music or whatever it may be) and how, for some people, it is just a way of expressing themselves and not necessarily a way of making money and finding fame.
another delightful 5 star for you
Another Dublin girl, I know several Dublin singers, and I actually have a cousin who lives in Dublin, her name is Anne Arbuthnot, part of the Arbuthnot clan I was happily born in. We are all from the Dublin area, county Down, and also Kincardinshire, Scotland. I love your music.
Great to hear you have family in Ireland and Scotland! I am actually English (and one eighth Scottish!) but have been in Dublin for 4.5 years. It's my adopted home.
I just knew your ending to this song was going to be like it is, and I love it. I love the song, assuming you wrote it. You have really brightened up this guys dreary New Jersey afternoon. I am sharing this with everyone, it is so unique and wonderful. Did you do the piano? Do you do demos?
Is this Something Real? I write all my own lyrics and arrangements and record everything myself. Thanks a lot for your comments. I really appreciate it!
I love the poetic imagry in this song, and your vocal as super and comes through out in front like a vocal should do. Very nice Ron Wilson Arbuthnot aka Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet
Thank you Ron, such a nice compliment. Very inspiring and much appreciated.
Thanks Ron, a great compliment to myself and my stunning producer.
The first thing that caught my attention is the BLUEBIRD mic, I use one myself a lot, it has a very mellow sound. I share this on Facebook.
I could write a whole book, and it would be a long book, about the memories of my own life I hear in this song. What a beautiful song and performance, and I love the video, you look so natural. (BURN)
Thank you so much, Ron! This means a lot to me. I am so happy that you can connect with my lyrics, that is truly my goal in life!
A really mellow and beautiful arrangement, however, I got kind of lost at 2:45 with the change in pitch, lots of musicians love it, I do not but that is what music is all about. Would be a nice song for some lyric floating around in your mind, I am already trying to listen and place a lyric to another FULL MOON song I wrote, but I am sure your meaning of FULL MOON is far removed from my own connotation, which goes something like "Lunatics are coming out tonight, it's gonna be a Full Moon tonight," surprisingly, it would work, but I promise no-one will ever hear this way. LOL. I love your instrumental.
-To Facebook and others -This ladie's vocal is so enchanting and beautiful, it certainly deserves a listen, even though the music sort of drowns her out in places, I have asked her to put the lyric sheet on the Broadjam page, I hope she does because this is so fantastic even without it.
Thanks a lot :)
Two 5 Stars, not bad, huh? Such a unique and beautiful voice and vocal, the instrumentation in my opinion is a little too far out front, your voice is so enchanting but the music sort of drowns it out in places. Also, one of the most important things a singer/producer/technician/manager can do is to supply a lyric sheet with the song(s) so the listener does not have to labor to understand they lyric and what the song is all about. It is nearly impossible to understand the lyric to most of WANT THIS
I will add the lyrics on here this week :)
This is so intriguing to me, it is definitely something no one else I have ever heard has even attempted to handle, but I struggle to get the picture and that little bit of hair generic makeup leads me to this, but without lyric sheet as I pointed out earlier, I doubt many would try to get the big picture. I think it is important, and reaking your TITLES as I listen, I am certain you have planned it all, now how do I find the time to listen to them all? But I must.
I give this a 5 for the enchanting piana, and your beautiful sultry voice that we hear too little of today, and a pleasant song. I just wish you had posted the lyric sheet so we can read as it plays, it wold be helpful. And a lyric sheet is absolutely necessary when sending to any producer or publisher or they will not even listen. I love this song and performance.
