Story Behind The Song
While experimenting with various banjo picking styles, I came across a particular run that more or less resembled the whirring flight of a hummingbird, so I proceeded to write the song.

The singer sees a hummingbird and it brings him joy. At the sight of this tiny bird, he still feels the wonder that struck him when seeing it as a child. He feels a certain connection with this tiny creature, even while realizing it isn't even aware of
