Story Behind The Song
I was working a tape of some songs for my friend, Lynn Goveia (before we got the studio set up). I was playing around with an open tuning, and had the tape player running. I wrote "stranger" as I in ffront of the mic. It came with very little thought.

STRANGER IN THIS WORLD
Karmann Powell copyright 2006
I'm stranger in this world
I don't belong here any more
I'm a stranger in this world
I don't belong here any more
Jesus use my life
let me live it just for you
I'm your living sacrafice
There's nothing else I'd rather do
I'm the prodigal child
Of a loving father
Who waited 'till I came home
Then he ran to greet me
Threw his arms around me
and I wondered
Why'd I wait so long
I'm a stranger in this world
I don't belong here anymore
I'm a stranger in this world
I don't belong here anymore
I want to see Your face
I want to hear Your sweet voice
I long to sing Your praises forever
In Heaven
In Heaven
