Story Behind The Song
I was working on another song. For some reason the melody of this song kept getting in the way. I would push it aside and before long, it would again intrude. I finally gave up and went with it. There I was with a melody and no words. A day or so later the first two lines jumped out. They stated the story. All I did then was following the bouncing ball. This is the first song I've ever written, that doesn't contain a repeating title. The opening line is the title. You never hear it again.
Song Description
This is one of those songs that lyrically appear sad yet the music is very upbeat and the message has hope. Overall a fun song.

Lyrics
She left a note
That's all she wrote
Her words were oh so sad
She was my girl
She was my world
and now I feel so bad
How could she do this
I'm simply clueless
I'm feelin' so boo hoo
One day a rainbow
Will make the pain go
Then I will be woo hoo
Till then I'll sigh
And wonder why
She broke my heart in two
Some day I spose
La vie en rose
Till then my world is blue
