Empty closets in empty rooms,
Empty promises get broken so soon,
I thought our love might have been strong enough,

I?ve got photos scattered thru my life,
Pictures of our memories still stay on my mind,
We were two lovers holding on to our pride,
Using a camera with no film inside,
Leaving us with memories that could only fade with time,

Seasons change and the leaves fall to the ground,
They look back at the trees like forgotten friends,
We?ve changed and as I look around,
I see our memories are like the long forgotten leaves,
As they stare at empty limbs,

My tears follow the leaves to the ground,
I know you?re gone and there?s no doubt about that now,

What might have happened if we?d have seen it thru,
