Lyrics
'Money To Burn' - words and music by Mark S. Ludes (MSL) 2/10/2011
V.1
I opened my email to see what's up and all I got was a bunch of junk.
Began to read about some money I'd won, when all of a sudden here it comes!
I got a message from the King of Kong, telling me that I'm waiting too long.
They have my money and it's in their bank - just send them a check and leave it blank.
V.2
I couldn't believe it, could it be true? Millions of dollars, what do I do.
All they need is my bank account, to send me more money than I could count.
All it's gonna cost me is a service fee, so small amount it's almost free.
Man, is this my lucky day or what? No if's, no and's or but's.
Chorus:
Well, it's only money, so they say - win some lose some everyday.
Trouble is, where the checks are from, and the wire transfers never come.
So-called free gifts, well, not so fast. The check I sent is a thing of the past.
A lesson learned from a lesson earned, unless you got plenty of money to burn.
V.3
So as I read on down the list, I noticed another one I couldn't resist.
They said I was the one that they had picked, to receive this one and only gift.
All I had to do was to send them a check, to get things rollin', so what the heck?
I'm sending it now, before it's too late, I want my gift - I can't wait!
Money To Burn......Money To Burn..... Money To Burn
