Story Behind The Song
I went to a songwriting camp this summer. And in one of the classes we talked about Shadow songs, and we shared with each other all the things that sit inside of us and become these burdens that are sometimes extremely difficult to carry,such as guilt shame anger and fear. And in the process of writing my shadow song, A Beautiful Mess, I decided I wanted to bridge the darkness into light, i choose healing and live and hot to be the true message, which you will hear in the last chorus of the song.
