Lyrics
Arab Spring
Brother Bicker (ft. The BickerBros)
INTRO:
VERSE:
Sun goes down in the desert there's a gun pointed at my head
Shepherd has become the wolf instead
Warm wind blowing from the Nile gonna pick me up off of my feet
Chorus of the crowd takes the song to the street
A new generation on a twitter feed
PRE-CHORUS:
Ooooooh Oooooh
Ooooooh Oooooh Ooooooh
VERSE:
Gunshots crackle through the square as the bodies they start to fall
If we stand together they can't kill us all
It's gonna take this taste of freedom to put freedom to the test
So I can live life like the rest
There's a fire burning in my chest
CHORUS:
Trade my shackles for a shallow grave 7 holes in my head
But what'll I do instead
I may just shed my chains of iron for a gilded cage of gold
If I don't try I'll never know
PRE-CHORUS:
Ooooooh Oooooh
Ooooooh Oooooh Ooooooh
Ooooooh Oooooh
Ooooooh Oooooh Ooooooh
CHORUS:
Raised my hackles with a heavy hand - now I raise my head
Leave me breathless or you can leave me dead
Sons and daughters on the rise and ever strong they will grow
You cannot crush these seeds we sow
SOLO:
CHORUS:
Trade my shackles for a shallow grave 7 holes in my head
But what'll I do instead
I may just shed my chains of iron for a gilded cage of gold
If I don't try I'll never know
If I don't try I'll never know
If I don't try I'll never know
If I don't try I'll never know
OUTRO:
Ooooooh Oooooh
Ooooooh Oooooh Ooooooh
Ooooooh Oooooh
Ooooooh Oooooh Ooooooh
