The original Ruby Rendrag sound incorporates pop with hard hitting Rock flavors and easily relatable lyrics. Ruby has been in the New Orleans music scene since 2001 when her first band placed in the top 5 at the Jim Beam Battle of the bands contest. She has been seen as guitarist/singer/songwriter and co-writer in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Mississippi and nearly every New Olreans Rock venue with such bands as The Ricki Comeaux band, Watyr and Dingo 8. Today, life has forceably placed Ruby at the head of her first solo project and she has willinginly accepted. This solo project has been a long time in the making and most would say it’s about time.
