I am a singer/songwriter/performer and now author. I love to write songs that give you a visual interpretation through my words. My sound is known to make you calm down and relax, yet feel energized. I am currently seeking new musicians to create new music that I have written and need compositions. Although the music available on this site was recorded from 2003-2006 I continue to hear that people have it downloaded on their I-Pod's and are still jamming it in 2010! This inspires me to continue on this journey and I hope something in my playlist will bless, calm and bring you peace in such a noisy world.

I am an Artist of Music - I SEE IT! It has become a living dream to pursue what I used to fantasize as a child. Although I was profoundly shy, it took many years to find out that all I was afraid of was myself! Once God took me "out into the desert" and forced me to look at myself, my abilities and desires, I found out that my love for the world is as powerful as my love for singing.As an artist, it is my ultimate goal to take you away; even if its for just 45 minutes. I want you give you an opportunity to escape from your problems, your worries and just enjoy yourself. I want to take you on journeys, through music and hopefully, when the journey is over, you'll want to come back and take another one with me! My influences are many, inspired from genres of rock to opera, soul to jazz. So if you are a lover of all music, then I think you'll find my style captures a sound for many ears. Some hear Sade, some hear Anita Baker, but in the end, they hear "Leijiah"!! Watch out for upcoming announcements and news coming soon! Leijiah was quoted in the Roanoke Times & World News in 2003 saying "I want to wreck havoc in the music industry" and I have no intentions of stopping until the whole world knows my name!
