Songs that have made Broadjam Top Ten Charts:

Plastic Surgery

L. A. Based Composer/ Producer

I grew up exposed to a wide variety of music from classical, standards and jazz.... to rock, pop, blues, soul, funk, folk, reggae and latin music.

I'm mostly self taught having took enough piano lessons at an early age to get me started. When I look back at my influences, I do have many. However, when I really think about it, one sticks out above the rest. Margaret Mackenzie was born in Glascow, Scotland on Christmas Day 1900. She played piano by ear and blew me away when I first heard her. She had such a natural connection with great melody and lush changes. She turned me on to the Beatles, Stones, Cole Porter, Miles and Sinatra. I know she sits in somewhere in heaven, saving a place for me at her piano bench, ready for me to play the left-hand part of Heart & Soul.

These days, I work out of my home studio and usually have a few projects going on with various vocalists, bands and musicians. Out of these projects, I decided to select some particular pieces for Broadjam. Most of them I have written and look to market some of them to the Film/TV industry.

Thanks for your review of my song Paris Again and for being so thorough! I really appreciate it. I will take under consideration your thoughts about pitch and the lyrics in the 1st verse clashing with the melody. Thank you and good luck with your music!

Nice job with your song. I see you are in Costa Mesa. Let me know if you are gigging in OC or LA. I may come check you out.

Thanks. I don't actually perform yet (poor piano skills :)); just record songs, but hopefully will perform soon. Do you gig?

Thanks for your review. I'm the lyricist. What happened with this studio was that the vocalist was so bad, I couldn't use it, but I used the instrumental. Not really that good.

Thank you for taking the time to review my song, "guitar sweep." I have found the review extremely helpful, and can't say how pleased I am that my work has been appreciated. I am so glad you've enjoyed it. I've listened to a number of your songs and I'm very impressed with both the lyrics (especially plastic surgery) and instrumentation. I hope to see your album in stores soon. It certainly deserves the attention it's getting.
