Don't like mean girls...But I love your song "Mean Girls".. I am always amazed when I hear or see mean girls (or boys for that matter) in action so any song that might help this bullying problem that seems to be escalating in our world gets five stars from me.Great job on this song!
oh man, thanks so much for the five *'s on Tragedy....awesome!
You're welcome, nice work.
Thanks for the add!
You're welcome, 'Then I fell for you', is a very well crafted song, I enjoyed listening.

"Tree Spirit" excellent and very captivating...Ines" vocals gave me arm and back chills, very neat!!!
Thank you for your kind comments Penny, we'll just have to go back and finish the 'Tree Spirit', we thought about adding lyrics, which then is going to take some time :) and sorry for the late reply, we've been away form the computer, thanks again.
It's really very good "Tree Spirit" just the way it is but if you do add lyrics I will look forward to hearing them.Very unique piece!
"Hotsy Totsy" reminds me of times gone by and the days of innocence, energizing and FUN!
Hi Penny, I miss the good old days too, thank you for listening and best of luck with the 6-Pack competition.

All girls are mean, my dear. Beware, and hold to the True Heart of Love. _N
That's good to know, I thought only a few made them seem like all girls are mean ;) Thank you for listening Nick.

Hi Annie, I remember now, 'Forevermore' is a very well made song and is fun to listen to, pleasure was mine.
Hi Peter, I think the Complicated Man is a well made project, all the tracks are good, i'd say you can't go wrong with any three songs, but here is the list: 1. Far From Home, 2. Complicated Man, 9. Mistress of the Vein Good luck
thank you for your support and recommendations. you're presence here on Broadjam is greatly appreciated.
Ines, Catch you when you fall. Stars fall sometimes. - N
Haha thanks for listening Nick, we appreciate it.
hi, thuderstew is awesome. tense but with melody. what software programs to use?
hi Gordon, 'thunderstew' was the test tune, all vst patches used in this tune were some free sf2s i found online and the cubase included synths :) i don't have much experience with the midi, at the moment i am leaning towards native instruments. what programs are you using?
i never did midi until a couple of weeks ago. the too funked up was my first midi drums i have to go tweak them and remix them. i just used the standard mix patch in NI's studio drummer. way too bass heavy! i went with native instruments komplete 8 which has tons of awesome programs. i still would rather play than program but i need to move into the 21st century and get the midi down so i can do symphonic music. i love classical music and have written some pieces that i played on a 15 year old alesis QS8. but the sounds do not hold up to todays standards. i bought the project sam symphobia2 and the sounds are unbelievably realistic. geared towards writing cinematic scores. still trying to get everything working right.i had to get another hard drive to put the libraries on so they will stream faster. i had everything working good but then i finally got satellite internet so i would have a fast enough connection to get all of the updates. installed the NI updates and now some things are getting funny and if i open battery 3 pro tools instantly quits. and when i try to shut my computer down it gives a error message that midi core will not respond and i have to force quit it every time. the old days with actual mixing boards and tape machines didn't seem to have as many problem as the virtual computer world. when pro tools is working its great! but when something goes wrong its harder to figure out. however, you can create electronic music very quickly with all of the cool arpeggiated and sequenced patches there are out there. i think the NI komplete 8 have like 14,000 and gets a bit tedious going through them to find what your looking for. the native stuff sounds phenomenal though. take care, G
haha when all is said and done, to make sure everything works a little bit of luck too is required, or a computer related degree, from what i hear the drums on 'too funked up' sounds great, maybe too long of a tail on the snare... as with everything, midi takes time and patience, but symphobia sounds great, i'd love to hear those classical pieces of yours
Yes, this 'thunderstew' is definitely a candidate for an action movie. Loving the soundscape. VERY WELL DONE !
Thank you Thierry for listening and your comments, i respect your opinion and appreciate you stopping by.
Chilling and Dark Music Cues: Music needed for film Genre: Unique - Soundtracks Posted: Jan 4, 2013 Deadline: Feb 10, 2013 Payout: $1,200 per track Looking For: Chilling and dark music cues that would work in a thriller or horror film. Did you see this one?I would make sure is licensing, not a direct buyout though, for anything. Always keep Go To Sleep! ;0)
Thanks Susan, i am on it, but i am afraid this submission is not for licensing, i'll try to keep the song but if i'm offered $ i'll cave in i know ... :)
Don't cave in negotiate. If someone wants something they'll come to you. I won't even shop to someone if they want the whole thing Keep that track it's killer! (No pun intended!)
lol thanks for your help, we'll see, negotiation is not one of my strongest points :)
Just say what you want and know what you can live with. If you can live with giving up your track (for prob half that if they say they'll split it with a "publisher" Go for it. I say offer them licensing rights for that fee and stick with your guns. If they want it they'll agree. Or at minimum you keep half of all rights! Know who these ppl are and what they can do for you. This is Hypothetical right now of course, but advice for any situation! :)
i'll keep that in mind, and if the hypothetical ever works out, i wont forget you ;)
:0) Good luck! (With Wes C I mean!)
i love jinglehell. it reminds me of the way the x-files theme was so eerie. very well done! do i hear your daughter in there?
hey, thanks for listening we are happy you liked it, you are right that is ines singing, btw 'new revolution' is just amazing, great song even better musicianship, 5 stars
i was sure that sounded like her. new revolution i wrote in the mid 90's and performed it with my band at the time castles in spain. all of the songs on my page that are marked (CIS) after the title are from the same project. we opened for a few major label acts including dream theater. i always like what i hear when i visit your page! thanks,
wow, i can only imagine how great experience that must have been and fun too, petrucci was one of the reasons i slept with my guitar, of course i should have practiced instead :)
yes it was one of my music career highlights. it was on the images and words tour. my favorite album. i also love when day and dream unite. at least i think that was the correct name for their first release. i'm just getting into the midi thing now. pretty cool what you can do with a computer these days. i think ines has a great voice for 11 she sounds like with your help she could have a promising music career take care
Man Go To Sleep Gives Me the Chills. It is the ultimate 70s horror song! (and current- that was just such a creepy era for horror!) The funny thing about Broadjam is you find so many styles you didn't realize you like. I can't believe I keep wanting to listen to this terrifying song!
Many thanks Susan, you are too kind, and you have a very good taste :), I appreciate your support.
LOL SA. I do have good taste :)
You should contact Wes Craven or others like him and see if they can use it in any upcoming projects. I'm sure they would be glad to have knowledge about it. Maybe you could end up doing soundtracks down the road.
Thanks for the advice, you are right, i need to invest way more serious time and start looking for different opportunities, change my tactics :) i'll let you know how that goes.
:)
catch me if you can is very cool! another awesome job!
Thank you gordon i appreciate it, we planned on lyrics too but couldn't come up with any :)
lyrics are always the hardest thing to come up with for me. the music and melody comes pretty easy.
Hi Bill, thank you for the generous review of 'surfnsound,' I appreciate it, thanks again.
serotonin syndrome is very intriguing. i felt compelled to keep listening just to see where you were going with it! very cool!
i too wanted to see where it was going :) and i refused to to quit, thanks for listening
isn't that cool when the music is leading you instead of you leading themusic.
