Some great music there Rich! Impressive.
Thank you for listening!
Thank you for providing a 5-Star rating to my composition "Paperwings".
Sure! Awesome music.
I understand your frustration. I've had a few submissions that have been picked by song libraries, where they sit until a music supervisor discovers it. Just keep doing the type of music you are best at and keep submitting your songs. You never know exactly what they are looking for, and one of these times it could be your song. Best of luck to you!
Dear Rich Goldin, you just reviewed our song, "Hello Greyhound" and gave it 5 stars & Likes...thanks for the At-A-Boys"! Went to your site and listened to several of your excellent compositions and gave you 5 Stars & Likes! Was really moved by the back story of your song, "Rachel"! Good Job!! Noticed that you are from Massachusetts, I am too, some 65 years ago, where my folks got tired of the snow and headed West to Sunny California..... Again, wonderful tunes Sir........ Thank you for the review of "Embers". I was surprised at the low marks. Many of us are recording in different genres. Embers is a progressive rock composition utilizing modern guitar tones and multi-track layering. The recording has received Five Star reviews and 1000s of plays on various streaming sites. Best, Rich Goldin
Sorry you were my second review. Last place said I was way overboard with Mark's. Maybe I'll get better.
Here's an example of a five star review I've generated. Positive Comments This is an interesting composition. It most definitely crosses genres. While it has highly distorted guitars, it could easily find air-play on a country music station as an up-tempo submission. The guitar work is outstanding. I especially like the rhythm guitar tone - very nice. The lead guitar is well executed. Constructive Comments The song is nicely produced. The recording sounds properly mastered along with excellent stereo placement of the instruments. My only suggestions are thus: the lyric content/theme has been used multiple times in many songs; the lead vocal is rather "up-front". A word change or two in the verse might help the lyrics sound more original. A tiny bass frequency reduction in the lead vocal might make it sit better in the mix. All-in-all, great work and enjoyable listen.
Thank you I appreciate the critique.
How do I find out which song you commented on?

Thank you for your very through review of my contemporary "Summer Time" I am glad you liked it and if you care to go to my site I have a standard version of the same song....I have song tis song since I was 18 and I won't say how long ago that was ....lol!....but the song was recorded a cappella and it was my producer that did the arrangement versions from the same recording for both....Welcome to the BJ family, I hope you do well.....I am a friend in music......
Thank you so much for responding to me.
Thanks so much,Rich, for your great review of The Fiddler. Very much appreciated.
"it was a hot summer night under Memphis moonlight..is about as descripticve as one can get within the confines of 3:30...lol
Hi Lonnie G. I should have been more detailed in my sentence. I was thinking, smells, description of houses, how people are/were dressed. That's all. You're point is well taken though.
Rich, if i was writing a Dylan-esque "Tangled Up In Blue" i'd have the time to develop a plethora of narrative...but as Hall & Oates once said: "don't bore us, get to the chorus"...lol
thanks for the fine review of "Winds Of Change"..had to laugh when you mentioned the vocals should be sung with less gravelly voice...it's just that I don't contrive my vocals..it's how my vocals are...agree with the "hotness"..doing a remix.
hot summer night under Memphis moonlight is about all the description any song needs to set the tone...just saying..one only has 3:30 to tell the tale.
Thanks, Rich, for the 5 stars for You Save Me and Chocolate Buttercream. All best, Hattie
Thank you very much for the support! I really appreciate it. All the best!
