My name is J.R. Bradford. I reside in Port Charlotte Florida. I am a singer songwriter, and I do an Oldies and Classic Country show as a solo act with a full accompinmement keyboard. Raised in Aurora Illinois, I always had a 4 or 5 piece band and played music throughout the Fox Vally area. I have been a demo singer for Broadland music in Nashville in the past, but now I do a weekly gig and private jobs.

I have gotten so many requests from unknown people and pastors, to use songs I wrote on my Fathers passing, and then my mothers. They use them for their funeral service, as i did for mine. "This Man Called Jesus" was for my dad, and "Lord Take care of Momma" my mothers. I am in the mindset to start writing again. Music is my theropy.

Thank you for the review of "Embers". I was surprised at the low marks. Many of us are recording in different genres. Embers is a progressive rock composition utilizing modern guitar tones and multi-track layering. The recording has received Five Star reviews and 1000s of plays on various streaming sites. Best, Rich Goldin

Sorry you were my second review. Last place said I was way overboard with Mark's. Maybe I'll get better.

Here's an example of a five star review I've generated.

Positive Comments

This is an interesting composition. It most definitely crosses genres. While it has highly distorted guitars, it could easily find air-play on a country music station as an up-tempo submission. The guitar work is outstanding. I especially like the rhythm guitar tone - very nice. The lead guitar is well executed.

Constructive Comments

The song is nicely produced. The recording sounds properly mastered along with excellent stereo placement of the instruments. My only suggestions are thus: the lyric content/theme has been used multiple times in many songs; the lead vocal is rather "up-front". A word change or two in the verse might help the lyrics sound more original. A tiny bass frequency reduction in the lead vocal might make it sit better in the mix. All-in-all, great work and enjoyable listen.
