Hi Michael, first - thanks for your help! I see that my song was considered, but I don't see that it has in fact been selected. Am I missing something? My heart's beating fast - I've never had any success, mainly because my musicianship is poor, so I can't present my classic songs well enough. Thanks once again for your help! Regards, Richard
Congrats on getting the pick for the car commercial opp, I think your song really fits well for the listing.
Wow, is that really true Michael? I can't see and confirmation of that anywhere - where do I look? Cheers, Richard
Richard look at "my licensing submissions" and at the top right the pull down menu "My selected/considered" you should see your smiling face :-)
Congrats Sir on your latest success! Keep up the good work!
Hi JKJ, I don't understand. My latest success? So far, I've had no success with my songs. What success are you referring to? Maybe I missed something! I'm thinking of just hiring my lyric-writing skills to a songwriter now, as maybe my songs (which are still really great) are just not being presented well enough, due to my poor musician skills. Any takers for a brilliant lyricist!!!???
I just listened to ( How Long Can I Go On ) This is a wonderful song.
Hey guys, have you ever heard of an awesome songwriter who can't sing, and plays piano with one finger? His name was Irving Berlin, one of the most iconic American songwriters of all time! I can't sing either - well, not great anyway. And I play guitar and piano in a very basic fashion, but I too write incredible songs with unforgettable melodies, the most powerful and meaningful lyrics that scan perfectly, and with beautiful and interesting chord sequences. But I can't produce them professionally at all! I 've paid for a couple to be done, but it's really expensive as you know! (Listen to 'America' and 'Luda' and 'How Long Can I Go On?') So which inspiring and innovative musician/s would like to team up with the greatest living unknown songwriter on this planet? I will share my songs 50/50 with you, no matter what your input, if we can do this right. Regards, Richard M Fisher
