Dave, man. Hope you are still above the sod. Great new tunes, especially "Don't Forget who you Are" although my personal favorite was Guys like me. Man, you need more Friends. Get over the Thunder Bay blues and go forth and Love! - Old Nick
Hey thanks Nick! Everything is fodder for inspiration you know. :)
Dave thanks sooh much for your great review of my "Killing Me " agree 100% with you ,I recorded it at The Soundgallery and the engineer had masses of gear and tweaked the harmonies incredibly well i remember on first playback i burst out laughing saying it sounds like the Von Katon Family Singers ! ha ha, I just turned 65 last 11/02/14 and hope to redo it there again, it was actually written as a male female duet so you hit the nail on the head ! please look up my experimental instrumental version of it on my profile ,rather messey but had great fun with it Blessings JK Exeter Devon )0( )0(
Dave, thanks so much for the great review of "This is My Life". I try :D.
HI Dave hope you had a fab Yule ? thanks fer review of my "Killing Me" and I agree 200% with you. it was originally composed as male/female duet as yet have not found "Miss right " it is very much influenced by sequences from "the Snow /goose " by Camel . have a fab 2015 ! )0( )0( )0(
Hey Dave, Thanks for the great review of the live version of my song, "Electra". It was recorded "live" at Cowtown Ballroom in Kansas City, MO back on 9/11/71. It comes from my old "live" CD, "Black and White"....which is the only surviving tapes of one of my "Live" shows back then. The song, "Electra" also has a "studio version" that comes from my first album, "Time Loop"..... if you want to hear the studio version....stop by and give it a spin. I'm an old fart, but still writing and producing daily. God Bless and STAY WARM! Best, Chet Nichols
Thanks for the review of "They're coming for you" I think you make great points and I appreciate the feed back.
My two cents! Cheers dude!!!
Wow!! What a fantastic review! Thank you sooo much Mr. Nichols! You are spot on and very encouraging! I will revisit that song, it was one of my early ones, but I see it might be worth working on. Again, thanks for being so positive! Dave
You are most welcome. "Perfect" has a great core idea...it just needs to be polished.....
Hi Dave, thanks for the review of 'It Is Written' it's the second track of my concept album 'Eagle' and it describes the young lad being told of his native American ancestry by his father and grandfather, the rest of the album follows his journey back through time. Anyway mate, sorry,I'm going on a bit now, thanks for the review and good luck

My knee is sore from drumming to your song... Half life.. simply fits
If you're going to hurt your knee, there's no better way to do it than in the process of drumming to a song. Thanks for the compliment.
perhaps, Dave needs to tie up some loose ends before his knees give in at the half-life. . .
While surfing on the beaches of Mars...

Hey Dude! Happy birthday to you too!!! Ya, camp is pretty much done, got to do a little more winterizing, take the batteries out of the golf cart, stuff like that. You done too? (I mean with camp, don't think you're THAT old :)
Dave, God Bless you, son! 50 is not for the faint of heart. I am still passing for 36, so I pretend I still feel that way. Be sure not to sleep with any girl who might be your daughter..... - Old Nick
Sage advise!! Thanks Nick!!
as I sired not a single child, and with my birthing day shortly forthcoming, this too, shall not be a problem
HAAAA, at least not that you are aware of!!!
If you don't know it's your daughter at the time.... well, then you didn't know! :P Never say no to a good opportunity when it arises :) (my experience....) am 35 passing for 25 :P (No difference except for a juuuust a little, tiny bit less hair ..... to notice you would have had to know me at 25 and 35 :P ) Hence the mother of my daughter being 26 (pats himself on the shoulder)
Sorry about the swears in my new tune, but Jesus Christ, I'm turning 50!!! http://www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=81800 1
