Very nice pop song with "I Am Trying." With the first eight measures of the first verse, I thought it might be close to a copyright infringement of the melody line of Carole King's "Sweet Seasons," so I listened to both carefully. I would say it's simply influenced but not a direct lift so you're in the clear! The song is a bright uplifting and cheery pop song with really good hooks. Very nice! John
