Thank you Bob, for the 5-star rating on "Dance With Me". Penny G
Hey Brother Love this song!
Thanks for the 5 stars Bob! And congrats on all the recognition in the licensing opportunities... well deserved... And It's rare when I am captivated by every second of a 6+ min song, but Echoes of Us is fabulous beginning to end to music to lyrics... great song!
Thanks! I wrote that by request for a performance.
thanks for the stars bob
Your track, "she's a survivor" needs to be remixed. It's barely audible.
Your track "Shadowcreek Music" is actually "Please DJ Please". Thanks for adding my tunes to your playlist. Do you do your own production or send it out as I have to do?
I have a guy I use in Nashville.
I was using A Writer's Paradise but now use Pearl Snap Studios.
Hey BOB hope all is well, Congrats on your top 10 contemporary hits I was fortunate enough to have one make it to #9 have not heard from you hope I didn't say something to offend you .
Hey thanks for the 5 star rating Bob... Been enjoying seeing you knocking em out of the park man! Keep up the good work! Ed
Thank you! I keep on keeping on.
Hello Bob Great to meet you! Thanks for the 5 star rating on "Sunny Side Up" I'm listening to some of your songs, VERY nice!! All the best! Shirley
Hi! Thank you.
Hi Bob, I just wanted to thank you for the 5 Star rating on "Back On Track". I appreciate you taking the time to listen to and rate the song. While I'm here I'll have a listen to some of your music. Thanks again... be and stay well, Frank
You are very welcome!
Hey Bob... Big time congrats on getting your song chosen!!
Thank you!
I like "Lone Me Tweenty, I'm Winning.2", but it's Jazz, not Americana.
Thanks
thanks for the 5 star on what most have never had
Congratulations on your song being selected as the winner of the Broadjam Hot 100 Song Competition! What song was it? They don't say.
Thanks, Bob! It was "She's Meant To Be".
Do you do your own production?
So I send my songs to a demo studio in Nashville. I do melody and lyrics and Guitar for an worktape. About 1/2 the time the final product had my musical production done with better musicians than myself. She's Meant to Be is very close to my original production but boosted to 11 thanks to excellent Nashville session players. How about you?
I use a Nashville outfit, too, A Writer's Paradise Studios. They do a fantastic job, as you can hear. What's the name of who you use? I can't play the piano or guitar anymore due to disease.
PearlSnap Studios. I've been really impressed with them. Good quality and price.
And sorry to hear about the disease thing. I have some spinal issues and a trigger thumb myself. Had to learn how to hold a pick all over. Tough time sitting too long from messed up discs but I'm making it work as best I can. Wish you well my friend.
My disks are fine, but my vertebrae are dissolving. ðŸ'„
I love ALL your songs....... the vocalists you have are very good.... they represent the songs well...... do you do the composing?
Yes, I wrote the lyrics and now choose the chords. I'ma poet convinced to become a songwriter. I took a refresher course in Music Composition 101. You can find my lyric videos on YouTube. I keep adding more every day.
Analysis of "Because You're Beautiful" 1. Theme & Emotion The primary theme of this song revolves around admiration, love, and deep attraction towards someone perceived as beautiful. The lyrics exude an emotional and intense affection bordering on obsession. The artist repeatedly mentions the beauty of this person as the primary reason for their feelings. 2. Repetition The word "beautiful" is the cornerstone of this song, serving as a refrain and used repeatedly to underscore the intensity of the singer's feelings. This repetition gives the song a hypnotic quality and emphasizes its theme of beauty and allure. 3. Lyric Structure - Verses: These primarily detail the singer's attraction and the reasons behind those feelings, focusing on physical attraction and beauty. - Bridge: Offers a divergence from the central theme by introducing the idea of wishes and dreams. The "blue" sky is a metaphor for happiness and a perfect world. This part adds depth to the singer's feelings, suggesting that they desire more than just physical beauty - they crave the emotional happiness of being with the admired person. 4. Word Choice The descriptors used throughout the song, like "stunning", "lovely", "gorgeous", "striking", "radiant", and "flawless," further cement the idea of physical beauty. Words like "lust", "must have", "admire", and "desire" introduce a passionate, almost urgent nature to the singer's emotions. 5. Metaphorical Elements The bridge's mention of "3 wishes plus two" implies that even if the singer had more than the traditional three wishes, they would all be used to be with the admired person. The idea of the sky being perpetually blue ties into the dreamlike, idealized world the singer envisions with their loved one. 6. Potential Areas of Concern While the song celebrates beauty, it might be perceived as emphasizing physical beauty too much, potentially overshadowing other aspects of a relationship or the individual's non-physical attributes. This heavy emphasis on looks might be seen as superficial by some listeners. 7. Overall Impression "Because You're Beautiful" is a passionate ode to physical beauty and the emotions it evokes. The song delves deep into the world of intense admiration and attraction, using vibrant language and repetition to convey its message. While the emphasis on physical beauty is strong, the bridge hints at the deeper emotional connection the singer desires.
WOW! Bob,your song reviews are pretty intense, in a good way, honestly i didn't put any where near that much thought into writing them lol, just trying to find the next rhyme. what made you want to review not one but 3 of my tunes. are you a producer/licensing guy etc.,i'm always looking for new avenues to pitch my stuff,if you have any good connections in the biz i offer a 50/50 split. you get an income producing deal you get 50% of it. anyway thanks for taking the time in doing these song reviews very informative, i didn't know i was that clever. LOL. on this song think joe cockers 'you are so beautiful".next review the music as well just a thought, i'd love to hear your take on my melodies, song structure, chord progessions etc, your awesome thanks again, ljw
You're welcome! I'm a poet convinced to become a songwriter. I have to pay to have my lyrics produced. I can't break down your music as I do your lyrics, sorry.
ok got it, again amazing job on the reviews, thanks again,
Song Analysis: "I Wanna Be You" Theme & Message: The song's central theme revolves around admiration and the desire to emulate someone the singer holds in high esteem. The subject's identity isn't specified, which allows listeners to interpret and relate to the song in a personalized manner. It could be about wanting to be like a friend, a mentor, a celebrity, a lover, or even a version of oneself. Lyrical Techniques: 1. Contrasts: By juxtaposing desires like wanting to "dance like Fred Astaire" or "live a life with all that fame" with the singular wish of wanting to be like the song's subject, it accentuates the depth of the singer's admiration. 2. Repetition: Phrases like "I wanna be you," and variations of it ("I'd rather be you," "I admire you") emphasize the song's central message. 3. Cultural References: The song mentions famous figures like Fred Astaire, Superman, and Elvis and the roles of a president and a CEO. These references illustrate the wide range of people's desires and highlight the uniqueness of the singer's wishes. Overall: "I Wanna Be You" uses familiar structural elements and a universally relatable theme of admiration. Its strength lies in its simplicity and repetitive nature, making it easy for listeners to catch onto and sing along. The cultural references also give it a touch of familiarity, while the repeated emphasis on the desire to be someone else gives the song an emotional weight. With the proper musical treatment, it could be a memorable anthem of devotion and admiration.
Analysis of "It's a Beautiful Thing" At its core, the song celebrates the beauty of life, nature, and human experiences. Here's a deeper analysis: Thematic Elements: 1. Joy in Everyday Moments: From watching children play to picnics by the lake, the song emphasizes the beauty in seemingly mundane moments of life. It encourages listeners to find joy in simple things, a philosophy rooted in mindfulness and being present. 2. Nature: The song continually references natural phenomena, such as sunny skies, breezes, bluebirds, and rainbows. This theme underscores the notion that nature is a continuous source of joy and beauty. 3. Human Experiences: Elements like the "sweet smile in your eyes" or "a child's look of surprise" emphasize the human aspect of life's beauty. These moments are relatable, making listeners think about their experiences and memories. Structure & Songwriting: 1. Verses: Each verse provides snapshots of beautiful moments, both big and small. The verses are detailed and imagery-driven, creating vivid mental pictures that evoke emotions. 2. Bridge: The bridge of a song typically provides a different melody or perspective, and in this song, it acts as a call to action. It encourages living life to the fullest and cherishing every moment, regardless of age. 3. Repetitions: The phrase "it's a beautiful thing" is a repetitive anchor throughout the song. This repetition emphasizes the song's central message and is a memorable refrain. Areas of Improvement: 1. Grammar & Spelling: There are some spelling and grammatical errors (e.g., "freash" instead of "fresh", "eeze" instead of "ease"). Fixing these would polish the song and enhance its readability. 2. Cohesiveness: While the song captures many beautiful moments, it could benefit from a more cohesive narrative thread. It reads as a collection of beautiful moments rather than a journey or story. 3. Emotional Depth: The song is joyful and uplifting. However, integrating contrasting emotions or more profound insights into why these moments are beautiful might give them more depth and make them more relatable. Overall, the song captures a positive and uplifting message about finding beauty in everyday life. With some tweaks and refinement, it has the potential to resonate deeply with listeners.
Welcome to the Top Ten Country!
Congrats on "If You Only Knew" getting selected!!!!!
Thank you! The provider is https://www.musicofthesea.com/ . They're another music library. They charge $50 for submitting tracks to them; at least I don't have to pay that as I'm "selected". They want a five-year contract entitling them to 50% of licensing fees. I'm going to pass, as it seems that most of their placements have been for instrumental tracks; they're also heavily oriented to rap, hip-hop, etc. I think "If You Only Knew" has far better potential than sitting in a dusty music library. I'm going to ask my agent to submit to Chris Stapleton!
Hey Bob- Thanks again for the 5 star ratings! Appreciate it! Really good song, Past Loves! Any chance that Mike Lusk singing? Good tune! Ed
Yep, that's Mike Lusk. Since I'm a poet convinced to turn some of my poems into songs but can't play anything anymore due to the condition of my hands, I have to pay to have them produced. Deb Thomas does the ones I write for a female singer. I will soon have a couple of male/female duets made with both of them singing.
Wow Bob! You apparently don't need those hands for some awfully good songwriting! Ed
Thanks! I'm a pretty good six-finger typeist. I just got "Reclaim Your Light" sent to me, but it needs a remix; the vocal is too low. My agent thinks it's perfect for Carrie Underwood; I hope she does. Do you do your productions? Do you have a home studio?
"Reclaim Your Light" is up: https://broadjam.com/songs/Bob_Juch /reclaim-your-light
Yes- I have a half baked home studio... My handicap is my vision and hearing aids... If I get something I think is worth it, I'll usually hire a studio person to do a better mix... I see a couple more 5 stars you did! Can't thank you enough man! Ed
No problem! I have hearing aids, too, now. I went to too many rock concerts.
Hah! I had too many loud drummers in my bands over the years! lol You are writing some pretty good stuff Bob! Ed
Thank you, sir! My agent just sent Rodney Atkins "Past Loves, Present Heart".🤞
Good Luck! Ed
I wrote an answer to "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" It's here: https://www.broadjam.com/songs/Bob_ Juch/i-might-love-you-tomorrow
Thank you for the five stars on "Last Second Chance"! That was the first song I turned from a poem into a song. I hope I've gotten better since then.
Bob, Grabbed that track somewhat randomly as I recall. Very nice, strong number. The lady singing certainly does it justice. I will surely audit more of your material in the near future. Hey, maybe we can be friends? I'll leave that up to you. :) All the best to you sir! 'Rex"
Your tribute and timing is right on, literally and figuratively! I could have sworn I heard this on Tiki Man Radio? If not, you should send it to them. They have a great crew and will love it! It's Tikimandradio.com Coastal Americana.
Thank you, I asked them how to do that.
There is a link on their site "Submit Music"!
Oops, I didn't see that. I received a reply asking me to send them a link via email.
Hey Bob, Just wanted to let you know I appreciate the 5 Star rating for My Mama's Way... I only had enough time to listen to all your songs, but loved Queen of the Broken Hearts so far... Keep up the great writing and thanks again... I see you liked a couple of Ed Bentley's songs too. He's a great guy and write amazing stuff!!! Best to you, Steven
Yes, you both are.
Hey Bob, Want to thank you for the 2 five star ratings on my songs! Really appreciate it so much! Best to you, Ed Bentley
You're very welcome! I'll be listening to your other songs soon.
I've been listening to your tunes and am finishing up today. You've got a large bunch of five-star songs!
Thanks my friend!
Thanks for listening to my song, Memories That Last Forever, and the 5 star rating. I've listened to several of your songs and like what I hear. Wishing you the best! Tommy
You're welcome! I'll listen to more of yours later today.
Bob, thanx for rating a couple of my songs, it is appreciated. You have some very impressive music on your page, well done.
You're welcome!
A New Hamshireite member of the Conch Republic who likes tamales made with Hatch green chilies! I think you'll love my song, "I Miss Jimmy".
I tried searching your artist name and "I Miss Jimmy" to listen and review, but search said no results! Will you send me/attach your song?
All you have to do is click on my name, but here's the link: https://www.broadjam.com/Bob_Juch
I. Love. It!
I love "The Story of My Life"! I wrote a song with the same title but entirely different. I wrote a concept album about a woman's life, and that's the penultimate song. I'm slowly having the songs recorded; the first ones are uploaded here.
Thanks! Glad you like it! I wrote that one many years ago, and not being a singer, I sent it to SONG CELLER in Nashville and they did a great demo for me. Later, a guy named James Meadows picked it up, and thats the version I have on here.
I use Pearl Snap Studios in Nashville. They do a fantastic job for me.
