Dr. Fry's Texas Medicine Band was high on the most played independent charts in the early 2000's, and had many songs on independent charts. They have won awards in the American Songwriting competitions and others. They still receive heavy radio rotation in New Zealand and periodic play elsewhere. Their original tunes are on ITUNES and YOUTUBE. They were a popular Houston area band, but with moves to various cities primarily jam in their music room in College Station, TX. Their leader is Clifford Fry, who has a PhD in Economics. The songs are inspired by the rock poets.
