Brad Adams began writing songs in earnest while the lead singer of the reggae band, "Home Boogie Posse," in the early 1990s.  Home Boogie Posse was popular with the local college band scene for several years and appeared in Rolling Stone, which praised the band's sound:  "David Vincent's throbbing bass lines, Puphus's toaster-style vocals, Will Anderson's tootling trumpet and the band's authentically languid, endearingly ragged groove make for irresistible party music. . . "  Following a ten year hiatus from songwriting after the Home Boogie Posse dissolved, Brad returned to songwriting in 2004 and has continued to write for the past twenty years, focusing primarily on reggae and country.  During that time, Brad has worked with a number of publishers and music libraries and collaborated with artists such as Stevie Culture, Rankin' Scroo, Hypermarket and Tor Ingar Jakobsen.  Several songs that Brad wrote or co-wrote appeared on Stevie Culture's recently released
