Hi Barry,

I really enjoy your thoughtful review of the "instrumental version" of my song, "I'll Be The River". It is certainly a song with it's roots in the late-60's and the 70's. There is a version with lyrics at my Broadjam site. The lyrics in the song are very beautiful. Check it out.

That said, I want to share a little story. Back in 1970, I recorded the first version of this song at various studios, as a solo track. Then, while in SF working on my second album for Kama Sutra, I recorded the song in San Francisco at Wally Heider's studio. Well, like a lot of my songs, they went into my tape library awaiting to be re-discovered. Which is what happened to, "I'll Be The River". It was re-discovered a couple years back and the consensus was it needed a proper production attempt......and "I'll Be The River" is the end result.
