Inspirational/Country Artist Amanda Hagel is an artist whose mission is to create music that uplifts, empowers and inspires her listeners. For over a decade, Amanda has gained both national and international recognition as a talented songwriter and performer. Growing up on a farm in the southwest corner of Saskatchewan near Lancer, Amanda's upbringing was steeped in country living, cultivating her love for country music. As the youngest of nine, Amanda was raised in a musical family providing the perfect artistic foundation. To date, Amanda has written and released 25 original songs, 6 that have cracked the top 100 at Canadian Country Radio. Amanda has been recognized for her songwriting as a category finalist in the U.S.A songwriting competition for "Listen With Your Heart" and honorable mentions for "Be the Light" and "These Roots" as well as a 3rd place finish for "Call on Me" in the International Songwriters Day Contest.

Inspirational/Country Music Artist Amanda Hagel has established herself as an artist whose mission is to create music that uplifts, empowers and inspires her listeners. For the better part of a decade, Amanda has gained both national and international recognition as a talented performer and songwriter. Growing up on a farm in the southwest corner of Saskatchewan near the town of Lancer, Amanda's upbringing was steeped in country living and it was in that environment that her love and appreciation for country music would blossom. Growing up in an era of country music listening to amazing female artists like Martina McBride, Patty Loveless and Alison Krauss to name a few, provided great inspiration for Amanda as she began to develop her love for singing, playing guitar, and writing songs. Amanda's family is also very musical and being the youngest of 9 siblings, she also drew great inspiration from her family being surrounded by music at family gatherings, church music ministry and events.
Beyond her love for the country music genre, Amanda has also coined herself an "Inspirational Artist". Amanda is often asked to explain what that means as it's not a well-known genre although the category title does exist in certain sectors. For Amanda, being raised in a faith-based home and the growth she has experienced on her own personal spiritual journey have led her on a path of expression grounded in deep faith, authenticity, integrity, truth, and love. This heart centered expression is shared through her music and the messages it conveys. For Amanda, it has taken a great deal of courage and persistence to always remain true to following the promptings of her heart despite external pressure to fit in with current trends and styles in the music industry.
Along with her passion and calling to creating beautiful musical art, Amanda also has an established career in the health and wellness industry. When she's not in her creative space, writing, performing, or working on her latest musical project, Amanda works as a Personal Fitness Trainer and is the owner and operator of her small business "A Team Training". Amanda finds this secondary career brings a great deal of balance for her in all the areas of her own health and wellbeing. To bring the best and highest version of herself into the world and express that through her music, means Amanda must first take care of herself and through her experience as a fitness coach for others, Amanda has learned a great deal about what it means to be balanced and grounded in all aspects of wellness.
Since the start of her career musical highlights include being the 2015 national finalist in the Canadian CBC Searchlight Competition, in 2017 the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Country Gospel Album of the Year award recipient and in 2018 a category finalist in the USA International Song Writing Competition for her original song Listen with Your Heart. In recent years, two exciting highlights in 2022-23 for Amanda include an honorable mention in the prestigious International Song Writing Competition for her song "Be the Light" in 2022 and "These Roots" in 2023. Along with this songwriting recognition, Amanda received her first Western Canadian Music Award Nomination for Spiritual Artist of the Year in 2022. Amanda's 2023 single release "These Roots" saw incredible success achieving music video placements on CMT.com along with a live premier on the U.S. National Network Heartland. Both career milestones for Amanda. After her powerful 2024 single release titled "Call on Me" providing a long awaited cross over into Christian/Gospel sector, her 2025 country release "Country Roads", a soulful and haunting rendition of John Denver's Take Me Home, Country Roads and her most recent release "The Believer" reminding folks of the power of a simple prayer, it is evident that Amanda's music is continuing to evolve, expand and reach new audiences. Most recently, Amanda received a top songwriting award for "Call on Me" placing 3rd from writers around the world in the 2026 International Songwriters Day Contest. With 14 singles released to country radio, 26 official music videos and 4 albums currently released, along with numerous new singles, Amanda has fully embraced her musical calling as her songs and their messages continue to be heard all around the world.
