Origins and Studio Work

Yours Sincerely are a young and unsigned Oxford band who formed in 2008. They consist of a 3 man line up: Charles Graham, Matt Gallagher, and Jamie Vickers. (See below for more details on the band members.) They initially began their music by playing covers of other bands such as Sum 41 and Blink 182 but later moved on to recording charity songs, specifically with the charity Blue Sky due to their interest in recording. However the charity side of things were over quickly, and the band wanted and felt the need to continue doing more recording and this time writing their own music, and therefore set up their current studio, which is a small home studio that they demo and record their singles in.

Somewhere Near Nowhere

Recently the band announced that they were going to release their first full-length Single/E.P. entitled 'Somewhere Near Nowhere' during 2009. It will contain 3 or 4 songs that they will be recording in their private home studio over the summer months. They recently stated: "We're hoping that these songs will be released online over iTunes and Amazon MP3, as well as other online music retailers around late September/early November." The bassist of Yours Sincerely, Charles Graham, who came up with the title for the release, said the title came about whilst he was in a hotel room in Greece. "Whilst thinking about album artwork and titles for songs, etc. I remembered a film called Bagdad Café, which is about a diner in the middle of the Californian Desert and liked the idea enough to make me come up with the title. It was pretty random really!"

Hi, we're Yours Sincerely, a young Oxford band who love playing music live and writing and recording songs in between. Primarily a rock band with alternative and punk influences from One Night Only and Blink 182, we're also influenced by more abstract bands like Coldplay and so create an original punk rock sound.
