Vicki Bennett is an Adelaide-based songwriter whose songs have been compared to those of Jo Jackson, Joan Armatrading, Leonard Cohen and Spike Milligan.

She is most renowned for the originality of her lyrics and the variety of her musical styles (as perhaps the aforementioned reviewer comparisons might suggest!).

She has written for film, a cappella groups, choirs, eductional projects, health projects and commisions as well as her own bands. In 2004 she won the industry-voted SAMIA award for most outstanding keyboard player.

Her current all-women trio The Standard Deviations have released 2 full-length CD's.
