With 30 records/cd and a catalog of over 200 original songs to his credit... Tom Hood is a tireless performer and songwriter that blends folk, blues, country western, south of the border and island audio images with a solid classic rock backbone.
He has several bands and performs (subject to booking venues as solo, duo or full and) in Florida with The Tropical Sons or The Burnt Fuses and in New York with The Trailmen or Happy Campers
Tom plays guitars, bass, ukuleles and harmonicas and sings. He is a member of BMI and his music has been used for tv and films as well as commercials.
He is also the President of Tampa Bay Ukulele Society one on the largest uke clubs worldwide with over 4,000 members and is engaged with many community and educational programs in schools and libraries.

Bio
Tom Hood has been a performing singer and song writer for many years and has recorded over a dozen original CDs with his various bands including The Trailmen, Tropical Sons, Unknown Gentlemen, Lex & The Hood, Dirty Water Dogs, Raw Edge and The Empty Suits.
Tom has been featured with national acts, performed on radio and network television and his songs have been licensed for film and tv productions. Currently residing in Tarpon Springs FL, Tom plays at local venues including Skippers Smokehouse, Dunedin Brewery, Joli Mons, The Hideaway, Bradys BBQ, The Dockside, 8th Ave Pub, Porpoise Pub, Ka Tiki, Brew Garden, Tom is a director with the Tampa Bay Ukulele Group and active member with the Tampa Bay Musicians Co-op. He is a member of BMI.
