A little bit about me

Tim is a music teacher in the northern suburbs of Sydney looking to break into the world of composing for media. He holds bachelor degrees in music and education and has completed post graduate studies in sound design. His music has been used for film, TV, corporate videos and websites. The track 'Spaces' was used for backing a skiing and snowboarding clip in an Australian holiday/travel show - 'The Snow Show' on the Nine Network. He also composes music for concert band and has a number of solo instrumental works for French horn. Some of these compositions have won awards at Sydney's 'McDonald's Performing Arts Challenge'. As a French horn player he is 1st horn with the 'North West Wind Ensemble' - 2 times the Australian National Champion Band and has previously been a member of the 'Australian Winds'. He also played trumpet with the 'Big Big Band', one of Sydney's hard working covers bands in the late 90's & early 00's.

ATTENTION FRENCH HORN PLAYERS!!!

Just uploaded the two movements of my horn sonata. They are perfect for student performances, especially those who need contemporary Australian horn solo music for their HSC. Movement 1 is in sonata form and based on 'The Hunt'. Both are very melodic and have elements of a pop style about them. I estimate mvt 1 to be about 6th - 7th grade and mvt 2 about 5th - 6th grade AMEB or Trinity/Guildhall standard. Now, have a listen...........
