Biography
Dark Era, a period in time, reminescent of doom and gloom, darkness and pain, hopelessness and fear. But it was also a time that lends testimony to the spirit of man and his drive to overcome adversity, Survive life's harshest realities and persevere to become a society enthralled into the great technological age, but we are all still living in the Dark, I am surrounded by those who have adjusted their vision to make it thru lifes harshest realities. CATO-1, soldier, measures life, an inch at a time.He spits about survival. His battle field? The streets! Why does society shut the door on those who have made mistakes at an early age? Why is the majority typecast for lifes low-level , sub-standard roles. And then there's Tru-Mack the MACKALDOSIA, a lyrical jib-jabba. He literally explores the deepest regions of the mind.(ya gotta listen close) Consumed by law enforcements unyielding and brutal practices, exposes their routines with equal ferver. Now I share their frustrations and degradations, but i also deliberate an optimistic side to life. "What you speak shall be". Although due to the violence we've seen on the streets, and the concerns of loneliness and abandonment we all endure, everyone has had a Dark Era within their lifetime, some longer and more often than others. Our music and lyrics reflect these facts of life, but they also uncover the fundamental need to survive life's pitfalls, and finding that special person to help them through it. There is strength in all of us, and we enjoy defining them. Our work has a major urban flavor, but a testimony for all to relate.
