I am a physician with a degree in music and medicine. I studied piano for 20 years and graduated from The Oberlin Conservatory of Music where I majored in piano performance. I have always performed and studied composition and I read orchestral scores as others read books. Following Oberlin I attended Medical School at Tufts University in Boston and have practiced Obstetrics for the past 20 years. I have continued to write and perform throughout my life. I have decided to take a leap of faith and devote the next half of my life to writing music. I can write in many genres but prefer classical and song. My goal is to write for film. Music should reach the soul and stir emotion.

My Music
Having spent the last twenty years practicing medicine I return to my true passion....writing music. I have played piano and composed as long as I can remember and graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 1980 before attending Tufts University School of Medicine. I have taught piano and theory, directed musicals and played in many recitals throughout my life. I love melody, playing with voices and harmony. Hours are like minutes when the music is flowing to the pen (or mouse) and I'm in the zone. It is the highest one can ever get. Writing to me is both exhausting and exhilirating.
