A graduate of The Freehold Conservatory, Gilbert Polk works as a professional songwriter in New York, where he is a member of ASCAP, Songwriter's Hall Of Fame/NAPM, Nashville Songwriters Association Intl. (NSAI), and Actor's Equity Association.

Gil was awarded twice by BILLBOARD Magazine's WORLD SONG CONTEST as one of the top songwriters in the world. He recently recorded with world-renowned recording artist KRISHNA DAS on the release of ALL ONE on Triloka Records and Artemis Records. Most recently, Gil was an honoree in the BILLBOARD World Song Contest for his award-winning song, YOU ARE (The One I See), chosen as one of the top pop entries in the world.
