Story Behind The Song

I was at the Jersey Shore in a town called Avalon supposed to be on vacation. I needed some ideas to work on with my Producer and Co-Writer Mark Riddick. Reading the local paper I came across an ad for the BEST HOMEMADE BLUEBERRY PIE. I took a look at my wife and with a good bit of sweet humor I was off to the races. As usual Mark was all in and soon had the arrangement and musicians for the job. In my opinion mystery vocalist aka Luther Hicks made it his own and when I heard him sing it all I could do was smile and say, Damn!
