Lyrics
Mirror, mirror on the sand
Who's having the most fun in the island
Mirror, mirror on the sand
Who's having the most fun in the island
(1st)
With price of gas breaking the 3 dollar barrier
Long weekend drives do not seem to matter
Later Warner Robins and neighborhood Kroger
Hello indeed Tybee island waters
50 sandy yards from Light House Point
Where we stayed condo-style in our 4th floor joint
Was an odd-looking, weird smelling beach of some sort
Murky waters, sunset shells, seaweeds sands and blades of turf
Friday sun went down to the tune of our cameras
Ellen, Mau, Judy, Kaye, Mel, Rach and Leira
After group shadow jump shots with Peej, Fran and Ella
Seafood chow at Crab Shack with the alligators
(2nd)
Just like energizer bunnies
Went past 2 with our videokes and stories
Who would not go insomniac with much less worries
The place is nothing close to our good town Perry
Morning came late with a serenade from Peej
" I'm 15 for a moment" from "100 years"
We were joined by Martin, Eric and Aileen
Off to Southern tip, Strand with our humongous grins
(Sun-baked) Saturday sands cry mercy under slippers
Aileen, Mau, Judy, Kaye, Mel, Rach and Leira
Martin, Eric, surfin Peej, seaweed girls, Fran and Ella
While Ellen captured magic of the group's gleamy aura
(3rd)
5:30 sharp we arrived at the main event
Near the pier for our jetski appointment
Sweet sound of water engines slithering like jets
Fresh wild oysters behold the dancing dolphins
As we watched second batch zigzagged the lighthouse
From the banks of the owner's beach, fancy got aroused
PJ run as crabs made way from the douse
One hour of waiting is no grouse
Splendid time continued at River Street Savannah
As we stopped for seafood from 1800 era
Streets of cobblestones everywhere
Memories that we now share
