I was reminiscing about the last gig I played before Covid hit . It was a small pub with my musical friends . I keep the faith that we'll all be together again .

Song Description

folk music fans will appreciate this tune. I played it fingerstyle with a John Prine kind of feel. This was recorded old school with one mic capturing a live performance . It reminds me of how Alan Lomax recorded the Appalachian folk music back in the sixties. Sometimes less is more. It tells a simple story of friends gathering in the neighborhood pub. Everything so familiar , even the band. Just hanging out with friends are moments to be treasured.
