Story Behind The Song
During a three year stint of helping an assisted living / nursing home friend, I spent a lot of time observing the various states of the inmates.
A very old woman caught my eye and I wrote this song using some things seen, and since I did not know her personally, some things imagined.

Lyrics
LENORE
Ninety eight years is a long time to be here
She had outlived her family and friends
And the dolls 'round the walls that once called her mama
Were Lenore's only children again
A few photographs tucked in the frame of her mirror
Watched as she walked 'round the room
Pausing now and again to reach out and touch
A tattered wedding cake bride and a groom
This is the home time built for Lenore
One room with a parking lot view
Take good care of yourself and if you live long enough
Time will build one for you
She walked the long halls with no destination
And yesterday looked just like today
That funny four legged thing with the tennis ball shoes
Always made sure she got home okay
An old music box played try to remember
From a table close by her bed
She would lie there and smile at the sound all the while
The words tumbled 'round in her head
Repeat Chorus
Someday Time will build one for you
