I wanted to buy sandals one warm Monday morning in Spring, but found myself stuck in traffic, in the middle of road construction with jackhammers to the right of me, jackhammers to the left, and trapped by cars in front of and behind me. No movement. In frustration, I leaned back in my seat and complained to no one in particular, "Why can't Monday morning begin at noon?" I don't know where that came from, but I thought it might be a good title for a song.
