This song "WHEN I" is about a past love for this one lady, that for some forgotten reason, didn't work out. Now many years later there is still a deep burning love and desire for her, with things left unsaid & with unanswered questions that just won't let me go. The weight of my perceived and unresolved issues, reminiscing about what it would be like if things did work out, how our lives together might be like now, interfere with my mental & emotional well being. Steping back into the past, in my mind to reminisce, as I have done many times before, won't ever help solve issues. I really need to find her and at least say what's on my mind so she will know how I feel now and how I'll feel about her for the rest of my life.
