Story Behind The Song
The concept came along as I began writing a simple but pretty effective groove on the piano. I thought of a place far away and a girl walking down the beach there. Of course eventually we are on the beach together and she "Gives Me That Look." You know THAT Look! So I showed the piano groove to my guitarist friend, Larry Green, (who sadly, recently passed) and he came up with the wonderful guitar work on this song.
Song Description
Gimme That Look is about a guy who meets a girl and all he can think about is her. Then when she appears, all she has to do is look at him and he knows she feels the same way so it's a total win-win kinda deal.
