Story Behind The Song
I wanted to write a song in this style. I pictured an old guy sitting at a table in a bar somewhere in New York city and thought of those old gangster type movies where you often see this. When thinking of the scene then the music just popped in my head.

Lyrics
I sit here in this bar of mine
Got my smokes and a bottle of wine
Wishing that you were still mine
And I can't get over you
When I go home its late at night
When I'm drunk often get in a fight
Since you've gone, nothings gone right
And I can't get over you, you know its true
My Lovin' Baby's gotta a hold on me
I was so blind that I didn't see
Messing around girl, I was never true
So I'm telling you girl
I can't get over you
Stop my sorrow Baby stop this pain
Don't leave me in the pouring rain
All I wanna do is see you again
Cause I can't get over you
Like a candle without it's light
Like a blindman without his sight
I ain't got you and it doesn't seem right
And I can't get over you
