Story Behind The Song
It's a battle between the sexes type song. This song was actually written after I had an arguement with my husband (who still thinks he knows more than I do).
Song Description
I sing the song,"You Can't Boss Me Around" more country than Pop, but the production company liked the Pop version. The country version is more sassy and a little more mature sounding. It's all in the way you sing it.

You Can?t Boss Me Around
Written by: Lisa Courtney
June, 2004
1st Verse:
Honey, I?ll do anything for you
All you have to do is ask me to
By when you get that tone of voice
Act like I don?t have any choice.
Chorus:
Baby?
You should know by now?
You can?t boss me around.
2nd Verse:
When I want to be close to you
And I?m in a loving mood
We?re really in the groove
Then you go and break my rule.
Baby?
You should know by now?
You can?t boss me around.
3rd Verse:
I think something wrong with you
You have that same old attitude
You don?t seem to have a clue
Why I get so mad at you.
Bridge:
Some people say men are from Mars...but
I blame... it on the male ego?
You just have to have control.
Chorus:
Baby?
You should know by now?
You can?t boss me around.
Repeat 1st Verse: Optional

You might as well give in
Cause Baby you won?t ever win.
Baby, you should know by now?
You can?t boss me around.
No, you can?t boss me around!
