Story Behind The Song

I used the line about an 'army of footprints in the sand' at my wife Denise's funeral in Palos Park IL. In the almost four years of fighting cancer we had so many people helping us along the long journey that the burden seemed lighter in hte sharing. I hope the song represents 'giving back' to those many footprints that carried us along.
