Story Behind The Song
Written especially for Les Ombres back in 1965 by John Lord (John Handscombe), who also performs the lead vocal on this recording, the other band members doing the backing vocals. The record producer said that John couldn't possibly recreate the Spector piano sound - the timing was just too difficult to do. Judge for yourself...

Lyrics
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Well that's my baby (Oh yes it is),
Yeah that's my baby (Oh yes it is).
Well that's my baby (Oh yes it is),
Yeah that's my baby.
You know she treats me like she should,
There's never one so good as her.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Well that's my baby (Oh yes it is),
Yeah that's my baby (Oh yes it is).
Well that's my baby (Oh yes it is),
Yeah that's my baby.
You know she does the things I like -
I'm happy every night with her.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh.
To fade out...
