Story Behind The Song
I started this song as the pandemic intensified. When I saw the exhaustion of nurses, firemen, and all the first responders, I wanted a song that acknowledged their efforts. I did pay tribute to my county's fallen sheriff, Buford Pusser, in the first verse. I am grateful, and wanted to express that in a song.
