Story Behind The Song
"One Life" was originally written in 2020 under the title "Generations". The song explored the tension between following the safe path others expect from you and choosing your own direction in life. After presenting the first version at a songwriting camp, we received feedback that the chorus wasn't strong enough. That moment became an important lesson for us: the song always comes first, even if it means letting go of ideas we liked. We rewrote the chorus and reshaped the entire track, and from that process "One Life" was born -- a song about choosing a path you won't regret, because you only get one life.
Song Description
"One Life" reflects the moment in life when you begin questioning the path others have chosen for you. As children we often believe our parents know exactly what is best, but growing up reveals that their guidance may not always lead to the life that would make us happiest. The song captures the emotional crossroads between staying on a safe, expected path or risking something uncertain in order to follow your own direction. Its central message is simple: instead of asking what you might gain, ask what you would regret not trying -- because you only get one life.

Lyrics
[Verse]
When I was just a little kid
They always knew what I would need
But as the years went passing by
I've learned that I'm a different kind
They said: study, make career
And I agreed so I stayed clear
But dreams and passion, music, art
Will always be in my heart
[Chorus]
One life
You don't get to rewrite
Living only one time
Don't wait for the green light
green light
One try
To make your own highlights
All you get is one chance
One time, One try
Only one life
[Verse]
After some years I understood
The path they chose just wasn't good
They pushed so hard, so I rebelled
They still keep putting me through hell
You should work hard, don't be a mess
Money will buy you happiness
If life's a test I need to pass
My way's the best (Cause I have)
[Chorus]
One life
You don't get to rewrite
Living only one time
Don't wait for the green light
green light
One try
To make your own highlights
All you get is one chance
One time, One try
Only one life
[Bridge]
Here are the pieces, try to fit
They say keep low and be discreet
Others remind you one detail
That you should never, ever fail
But you should listen to your heart
Even if your life comes apart
Cause no regrets means path is right
You get to live only one life
[Chorus]
One life
You don't get to rewrite
Living only one time
Don't wait for the green light
green light
One try
To make your own highlights
All you get is one chance
One time, One try
Only one life
