January's snow month, play-in-the-cold month;

February's pretty chilly, too;

March is muddy brown, 'cause winter's still around,

You wonder of the spring will ever peek on through;


When April's begun, there's just a hint of sun,

Flowers blossom in the month of May;

There's lots of brides and grooms in the merry month of June,

And summer means we run outside and play!


Any time of year is lovely, if you think of it;

The months go by like a parade, and we can sing of it!

So come along with me, and day by day we'll see:

That any time's the best time of year!


July is hot and bright, there's fireworks at night;

August, we can run along the beach!

September's getting cool, and we're all off to school:

Learning ABC's and 1-2-3's from our teachers;



Summer's really over in the old month of October;

November, we remember pumpkin pie:
